A useful overview starts before the first box. Write down both addresses, the floors and any lifts. Add large furniture and belongings from the cellar, attic or garage.
Decide which jobs you will do yourself and where you would like help. Packing, dismantling and assembly should be discussed early. Remember the keys and access to the new property.
Keep personal documents, medication and essentials for the first day separate. Label boxes by their destination room to make unloading easier.
